An Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, Vatsal leads the firm’s litigation and advisory practice in Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax. He appears before the judicial and quasi-judicial authorities, including the GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and the superior Courts, conducting assessments, appeals and writ matters through to their conclusion. Beyond litigation, he renders a range of allied legal services spanning corporate and commercial law, and offers specialised consultancy in International Taxation, including cross-border structuring and transfer pricing. He holds a B.Com. and an LL.B. from the University of Mumbai, and an LL.M. in International Business Taxation from the Netherlands, a foundation that informs the firm’s approach of pairing rigorous legal craft with commercial practicality.
